Why The Sober Broker Exists
There was a time when my life looked successful on paper.
I was closing deals, staying busy, pushing hard, and doing what I thought high-performers were supposed to do. From the outside, everything appeared productive.
Inside, it was slowly unraveling.
I was leading with intensity instead of integrity — working longer instead of working healthier, numbing stress instead of addressing it, running on adrenaline while ignoring the warning signs that something was off. I told myself it was just part of the grind. That pressure meant progress.
But it wasn’t sustainable.
Getting sober forced me to confront patterns I had spent years avoiding. I had to slow down, take responsibility for my choices, and lead myself before I could lead anyone else. I learned how to sit with pressure instead of escaping it, how to show up fully present for my family, my clients, and my work, and how to build systems that last — not habits that burn out.
That transformation is what became The Sober Broker.
What The Sober Broker Really Means
The Sober Broker is not a sobriety program.
It is a leadership standard.
It represents a new way I operate in business and in life:
• Clear thinking over chaos
• Discipline over distraction
• Long-term vision over short-term wins
• Health, integrity, and consistency as non-negotiables
This mindset now lives inside everything I do at ENRG Realty.
My clients don’t just get access to listings — they get honesty, accountability, and someone who isn’t running from discomfort or making decisions in survival mode. I show up grounded, prepared, and fully present, because clarity isn’t a personality trait — it’s a practice.
Why This Matters To You
I don’t expect everyone to share my story.
But I believe everyone deserves to work with someone who understands pressure, who has walked through hard seasons, and who leads with clarity instead of ego.
Real estate is full of noise, urgency, and reaction.
The Sober Broker exists to cut through that — to lead with intention, to move with purpose, and to build something that lasts longer than the next transaction.
That is what I bring to every relationship.
